Community Activities

Marketview Heights Association believes in the importance of community involvement in activities that make the community a better place to live in. On this page there are links to activities that we participate and believe in. We encourage you to participate in these and other community activities as well.

City Living Sundays: This event is organized by the city of Rochester. It brings together housing development organizations, lending institutions, community groups, real state agencies, and the City of Rochester together in one place to show all that the beautiful City of Rochester has to offer, in terms of housing and programs for city home buyers.

Clean Sweep: This event is organized by City of Rochester. It brings together people from all over the city and the county to help clean up city neighborhoods.

National Night out Against Crime: This event takes place every August in about 10,000 communities nationwide, including the greater Rochester area. It is intended to bring awareness and support for programs against crime.

Rochester Farmer's Market activities: The Farmer's Market is one of the best attractions in the City of Rochester. Although the market is open all year long, every year, during the summer, besides the beautiful colors of flowers, and the wonderful fruits and vegetables from all around Rochester, the Public Market has many activities for the whole family.

For more information about any of these activities, please click on the name if each activity. They will take you to the events' webpages.
